New Delhi: Mumbai Indians delivered a complete team performance to defeat Gujarat Titans by 99 runs in Match 30 of IPL 2026 on 20 April at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. A brilliant unbeaten century from Tilak Varma and an impressive four-wicket haul from Ashwani Kumar helped Mumbai Indians secure a comfortable victory.

Mumbai Indians scored 199/5 in 20 overs, while Gujarat Titans struggled during the chase and were bowled out for 100 runs in 15.5 overs.

This convincing win also helped Mumbai Indians end their four-match losing streak and regain confidence in the tournament.

Mumbai Indians Innings: Early Wickets

Mumbai Indians did not get the best start after coming in to bat. Gujarat Titans fast bowler Kagiso Rabada picked up early wickets and put Mumbai under pressure.

Quinton de Kock scored 13 runs off 11 balls, hitting one four and one six before Kagiso Rabada dismissed him.

Debutant Danish Malewar could not make much impact and scored 2 runs off 4 balls before Kagiso Rabada trapped him lbw.

Suryakumar Yadav tried to score quickly but managed 15 runs off 10 balls with one four and one six before Kagiso Rabada dismissed him.

Naman Dhir Plays Important Knock

Naman Dhir played a valuable innings and helped Mumbai Indians recover. He scored 45 runs off 32 balls, hitting six fours and one six.

He built a steady partnership with Tilak Varma and helped stabilize the innings. However, Prasidh Krishna dismissed him when he looked set for a big score.
