NEW DELHI: Samsung has launched its new Samsung Galaxy F70 5G smartphone in India, targeting buyers who want a feature-packed device in the mid-range segment. The smartphone offers a 50MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display and a 5,000mAh battery. Samsung has also promised long-term software support, making the device an option for users who plan to keep their smartphones for several years.
Samsung Galaxy F70 5G Price in India and Availability
Samsung has priced the Galaxy F70 5G at Rs. 19,999 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant costs Rs. 22,999. The company has also announced a launch offer that brings the effective starting price down to Rs. 17,999 with eligible bank discounts.
Customers can purchase the smartphone through Flipkart from October 20. Samsung offers the device in Lilac Bliss and Bliss Black colour options.
6.7-Inch Super AMOLED Display
The Samsung Galaxy F70 5G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The higher refresh rate helps deliver smoother scrolling and a more responsive experience during everyday use. Samsung has also added Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection to help protect the screen against scratches and accidental damage.
The smartphone measures 7.5mm in thickness and weighs 192 grams. It also carries an IP54 rating, which provides limited protection against dust and water splashes.

50MP Camera with OIS
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy F70 5G with a triple rear camera setup. The system includes a 50MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization, which helps reduce blur caused by hand movements. This feature can improve image stability, particularly when users capture photos in challenging lighting conditions.
The phone also features a 5MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, Samsung has included a 13MP camera for selfies and video calls. The camera system gives users options for capturing portraits, group photos and close-up shots.

Exynos 1330 Processor and 5,000mAh Battery
The Galaxy F70 5G runs on Samsung’s Exynos 1330 octa-core processor, built using a 5nm process. The chipset supports 5G connectivity and handles everyday tasks such as browsing, messaging, video streaming and app usage.
Samsung offers the phone with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users can also expand the storage by up to 2TB using a microSD card.
A 5,000mAh battery powers the device, while 25W wired charging helps users recharge it. However, buyers who prioritise faster charging should compare the phone with competing models before making a purchase.

Android 15 and Long-Term Software Support
The Samsung Galaxy F70 5G runs Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7 interface. Samsung promises four generations of Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates. The phone also includes features such as Samsung Knox, Samsung Wallet, Circle to Search and Quick Share.
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy F70 5G offers a combination of an AMOLED display, an OIS-equipped primary camera, 5G connectivity and long-term software support. Buyers looking for these features in a smartphone priced around Rs. 20,000 may consider it. However, they should also compare its charging speed, camera performance and overall value with competing devices before choosing their next smartphone.
