Sri Lanka Tourism will host its final Kerala roadshow in Thiruvananthapuram on October 30 to connect tourism businesses and promote travel from India
Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: Sri Lanka Tourism will hold its final Kerala roadshow in Thiruvananthapuram on October 30, 2026. The event will bring together tourism businesses from Sri Lanka and travel industry professionals from Kerala to explore business opportunities and promote travel between the two destinations.
The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB), in association with the Sri Lanka Deputy High Commission in Chennai, will organise the Sri Lanka Tourism B2B Roadshow & Networking Evening – Kerala Series 2026 at Hilton Garden Inn, Trivandrum.
More than 20 Sri Lankan tourism companies are expected to participate. These businesses represent accommodation providers, destination management companies, attractions and other tourism services.

Roadshow to Connect Travel Businesses
The event will give Sri Lankan tourism providers an opportunity to meet travel agents, tour operators, corporate travel representatives and other industry stakeholders in Kerala. Participants will exchange industry insights, showcase travel products and explore partnerships.
The programme will include business-to-business meetings, destination presentations, media interactions and cultural performances. Organisers have also planned a networking dinner, lucky draws and promotional giveaways.
The roadshow will highlight Sri Lanka’s holiday options, including beach stays, heritage tourism, wildlife experiences, wellness retreats, luxury holidays, family trips, destination weddings and MICE travel.

India Remains a Key Tourism Market
India continues to contribute significantly to Sri Lanka’s tourism industry. According to the figures provided by the organisers, Sri Lanka recorded 2,362,521 international tourist arrivals in 2025, including 531,511 visitors from India. Indian travellers accounted for around 22.5% of total arrivals that year.
By October 22, 2026, Sri Lanka had received 482,944 Indian visitors, representing 26.6% of international arrivals recorded during that period, according to the supplied figures.
These numbers underline the importance of the Indian market and the potential for more regional engagement. Kerala’s travel industry offers an opportunity for Sri Lankan tourism businesses to reach new customers and develop tailored holiday packages.

Final Stop in the Kerala Series
The Thiruvananthapuram event will conclude the Kerala roadshow series. The initiative also included events in Kozhikode on October 26 and Kochi on October 28.
Through the three-city programme, Sri Lanka Tourism aims to build stronger links with Kerala’s travel trade, improve awareness of its tourism offerings and encourage future travel partnerships.
The final roadshow will take place on October 30 at Hilton Garden Inn, Trivandrum.
