Bihar Signs MoU with AIM Global Foundation to Boost UAE Investment in Food Processing

Dubai: Bihar has taken another step towards attracting international investment by signing an MoU with AIM Global Foundation to develop a dedicated Food Processing Park in Bihar. The agreement was exchanged at the AIM Congress 2026 in Dubai in the presence of Bihar Industries Minister Shreyasi Singh.

The Industries Department, Government of Bihar, signed the MoU with the objective of bringing investments from the UAE and the wider Gulf region into Bihar’s agriculture and food processing ecosystem.

Under the partnership, Bihar and AIM Global Foundation will work towards developing an integrated agri-food and food processing cluster. The proposed initiative will use Bihar’s agricultural potential to establish the state as a sourcing and processing hub for food products serving Gulf markets.

Industries Department Secretary Kundan Kumar signed the MoU with H.E. Dawood Al-Shezawi, President of AIM Global Foundation. Director, Industries, Bihar, Mukul Kumar Gupta, was also present at the signing ceremony.

Shreyasi Singh said the partnership will support Bihar’s ambition to become a preferred destination for domestic and international investors. She highlighted the potential of the proposed food processing park to connect farmers and industries in Bihar with global supply chains.

Kundan Kumar said the agreement will facilitate structured engagement with UAE investors and help identify concrete opportunities in the food processing sector. He also highlighted the department’s plans to advance the partnership ahead of Rising Bihar 2026.

The agreement reflects Bihar’s increasing focus on attracting UAE investment, food processing companies and global investors while strengthening its agriculture-based industrial ecosystem.
