World-renowned evangelist Dr. K. A. Paul congratulated actor-turned-politician Vijay after he secured a landmark victory in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections by winning 108 out of 234 seats and emerged as the next Chief Minister.
In his statement, Dr. Paul described Vijay’s victory as “extraordinary and unexpected,” noting that most political analysts and opinion polls had predicted a marginal performance, estimating only a handful of seats and a limited vote share. Contrary to these projections, Vijay’s decisive mandate has emerged as one of the most significant political upsets in recent times, surprising many political leaders across the spectrum.

Dr. Paul also claimed that he had clearly and openly warned Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin on three different occasions — February 18, 20 and 22, 2026 — that he would become a former Chief Minister if he did not change.

Referring to his past interactions with M. K. Stalin, Dr. Paul highlighted earlier discussions regarding the organisation of a global peace summit aimed at attracting international investment and generating large-scale employment opportunities.
He raised concerns that authorities delayed and denied permissions for the initiative even after organisers submitted applications in advance and global leaders confirmed their participation.
