Hon’ble J&K LG Manoj Sinha honours changemakers at HRDS INDIA’s Veer Savarkar International Impact Awards 2025, while reaffirming the collaborative housing initiative providing 1,500 new homes for conflict-affected families.

HRDS INDIA successfully hosted the Veer Savarkar International Impact Awards 2025 at the NDMC Convention Centre, New Delhi, celebrating global achievers whose work embodies courage, reform, and nation-building—values inspired by Swatantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. The event was graced by Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, who attended as the Chief Dignitary. Eminent national leaders, international guests, and changemakers from various sectors marked their presence.
In his keynote address, Shri Manoj Sinha congratulated all awardees and highlighted the continuing impact of the J&K Government–HRDS INDIA development partnership.
He said,
“Veer Savarkar was a revolutionary whose ideals inspire generations. I am pleased to share that the first phase of our joint initiative with HRDS INDIA has begun—1,500 modern homes are being built for families affected by Operation Sindoor, conflict disruptions, and natural disasters. This initiative will bring security, dignity, and new opportunities to countless families.”
The ceremony commenced with a welcome address by Swami Atma Nambi Ji, President of HRDS INDIA, who emphasised the organisation’s commitment to social upliftment and its belief in honouring individuals who champion meaningful change.
Dr. S. Krishna Kumar, Former Union Minister and Chairman of HRDS INDIA, underscored the organisation’s journey from grassroots work to a nationwide movement.
He noted,
“HRDS INDIA is preparing to deliver one million homes for tribal communities. The presence and encouragement of Hon’ble LG Shri Manoj Sinha strengthens our resolve to accelerate sustainable development across the country.”

The evening also featured an audio-visual homage to Veer Savarkar and a classical Nritham recital by Ms. Vaishnavi PJ, disciple of Padmashree V. Jayarama Rao.

Founded in 1995, HRDS INDIA continues to spearhead holistic development in tribal and rural communities across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Assam, Jharkhand, and Tripura. Its programmes include sustainable housing, livelihood training, women’s empowerment, environmental conservation, and health access.
The event concluded with “Sudarsanam: Bharatam”, a transformative dance-drama performed by women rehabilitated under the Sudarsanam De-Radicalization Programme of Arsha Vidya Samajam—symbolising a journey from ideological vulnerability to purposeful service.
