Two-day event at Talkatora Stadium to celebrate Kayastha heritage, showcase talent, and inspire future leadership

New Delhi: The All India Kayastha Mahasabha (AIKM) and the Chitransh Chamber of Commerce & Industries (CCCI) announced today that the World Kayastha Conclave 2025 will take place at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi, on October 23 and 24. The two-day event aims to celebrate the heritage, unity, and future leadership of the Kayastha community.

National Chairman Dr. Abhishek Verma said the conclave will coincide with the auspicious occasion of Yam Dwitiya (Bhai Dooj), a day traditionally associated with the worship of Lord Chitragupta. “This conclave offers a historic opportunity for Kayasthas to unite, showcase their strength, and contribute to positioning India as a ‘Vishwa Guru’ by 2047,” he said.

Tracing its origins to Lord Chitragupta, revered as the celestial accountant of Yamraj, the Kayastha community has historically played a significant role in administration, diplomacy, education, literature, and governance. From royal courts of ancient India to the modern bureaucracy and judiciary, the community’s contribution has been widely acknowledged.

During the conclave, special tributes will be paid to eminent Kayastha figures, including Swami Vivekananda, Khudiram Bose, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Jayaprakash Narayan, Shrikant Verma, Premchand, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, Gopaldas Neeraj, Biju Patnaik, and Jyoti Basu. A particular tribute will be offered to Balasaheb Thackeray for his transformative contribution to Indian politics.

Dr. Verma also announced the institution of the ‘Shrikant Verma Samman’ in memory of his father, the renowned poet and parliamentarian. The award will carry ₹21 lakh for Hindi Literature, the highest award in Hindi literature, ₹5 lakh for Journalism, and ₹2 lakh each for Art and Performing Arts.

National Chairman of All India Kayastha Mahasabha (AIKM) Dr. Abhishek Verma with National President and Convener Manish Srivastava

National President and Convener Manish Srivastava shared that the conclave is expected to attract over 25,000 participants. The event will feature a National Talent Search Examination, Matrimonial Meet, Mega Job Fair, and Business and Political Workshops. Plans are also underway to install an 111-foot statue of Swami Vivekananda and an 81-foot statue of Lord Chitragupta in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh.
