Seminar features expert-led panel discussions across key sectors and recognises excellence with the prestigious Management Accounting Award
The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) organized a National Seminar titled “Management Accounting: Driving Strategy, Performance and Sustainable Value” in Bengaluru to celebrate International Management Accounting Day. The event explored the evolving landscape of Management Accounting in today’s dynamic business environment.
Moreover, expert professionals from industries and practitioners elaborated on key topics through engaging panel discussions. The seminar featured three major panel discussions focused on the Services Sector, Manufacturing, and Management Consulting and Services. Through these sessions, experienced professionals and consultants shared their valuable insights and practical knowledge with the participants.
ICMAI Leadership Inaugurates the Seminar
President of ICMAI CMA TCA Srinivasa Prasad, Vice President CMA Neeraj D Joshi, Council Member and Chairman of Management Accounting Committee CMA Suresh R Gunjalli, and Chairman of Bengaluru Chapter CMA Raghavendra B K inaugurated the seminar.
During the seminar, ICMAI also declared and announced the prestigious ‘Management Accounting Award’, which was awarded to ‘Delhi International Airport Authority’ headquartered in New Delhi. The award ceremony initiative aimed to evaluate entities on their maturity level in adopting Management Accounting Principles and Practices and honour organizations for their awareness, implementation, and resilience in pursuing global leadership.
Panel Discussion on Services Sector
The 1st Panel Discussion focused on the Services Sector and featured eminent personalities including CMA Gopal Ramanan, Vice President and JAPAC Controller, and CMA K. Narayana Rao, Director, Delhi International Airport Limited. The session was moderated by CMA Milind Date, Management Consultant.
Manufacturing Sector Panel Discussion
The 2nd Panel Discussion focused on the Manufacturing Sector and featured eminent speakers such as CMA Anil Jerath, Director (Finance), BEML Limited, and CMA Channa Basavaraja, Vice President, Strategic Initiative, Tech Mahindra. Meanwhile, CMA N. Raveendranath Kaushik, Management Consultant, moderated the discussion.
Management Consulting and Services Discussion
The 3rd Panel Discussion focused on Management Consulting and Services and included eminent experts like CMA (Dr.) Girish Jakhotiya, Management Consultant, and CMA Asim Kumar Mukhopadhyay, CEO, NAVTOM Consulting Pvt. Ltd. The session was moderated by CMA S Dorai Rajan, Total Cost & Lean Management Educator & Coach.
