IPL 2024: Mayank Yadav, whose explosive bowling has been making waves, is engulfed in controversy at the moment because of an injury. Recently, Vinod Bisht, the CEO of the Lucknow Super Giants, released a significant statement regarding Mayank’s fitness. In the fourth over of the innings, Mayank Yadav came to bowl his maiden over after Lucknow had scored 163 runs while batting first. However, Mayank was injured during the match versus Gujarat Titans. In that over, he gave up 13 runs, but he left the field. His suitability was called into question by this. Given that Mayank bowled this season at a pace of 156.7 km/h, there have been questions raised about his fitness.
Vinod Bisht, CEO of LSG, stated: “Mayank Yadav is having some minor lower abdominal pain. Within the next week, their workload will be decreased to prevent the issue from becoming more serious. We’re hoping he’s back on the field soon.Mayank Yadav was considered one of the top candidates to win the Purple Cap despite having collected six wickets in just three games due to his accurate bowling. Prior to Bisht’s declaration, it was reported that although Mayank was fit, he did not bowl the final three overs against Gujarat because of soreness.
