Motorola Signature 27 features a 200MP periscope camera, Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, Gemini AI, B&O audio and 7 years of software updates
New Delhi: Motorola has unveiled its new flagship smartphone, the Motorola Signature 27, at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit 2026. The company has equipped the device with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and plans to launch it globally in 2026.
Motorola has focused on performance, camera capabilities, AI features, audio and premium design with the Signature 27. The company has not yet announced the phone’s price or exact launch date.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6
The Signature 27 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 Mobile Platform, which brings improved performance, on-device AI, camera processing and connectivity.
Motorola has also added its ArcticMesh cooling system to manage heat during demanding tasks. The system combines diamond-infused thermal gel, liquid metal, copper mesh and a 3D vapour chamber. Motorola says the new cooling setup is 40% larger than the previous generation.
200MP Periscope Camera
The smartphone features a 200MP periscope telephoto camera alongside a 50MP Sony LYTIA 910 main camera.
Motorola has added its Video Enhancement Engine, which uses AI to improve colour and video quality in different lighting conditions. The phone also supports Qualcomm’s image stabilisation technology and 3.5-degree OIS hardware for steadier footage.
Audio by Bang & Olufsen
Motorola has partnered with Bang & Olufsen (B&O) for the Signature 27’s audio system. The phone becomes the company’s first smartphone to feature Audio by B&O.
The partnership aims to deliver a more premium audio experience on the flagship device.
Gemini AI Features
The Signature 27 also brings Google Gemini-powered AI features. Users can use Gemini Omni to turn text prompts, photos or existing video footage into new videos.
Motorola has also highlighted Lyria, which can help users create original music and customised soundtracks.
Premium Design and 7 Years of Updates
Motorola has given the Signature 27 an aluminium body with curved edges and a premium rear camera design featuring ceramic and brushed aluminium finishes.
The smartphone will be available in PANTONE Coal Smoke and PANTONE Capulet Olive colours.
Motorola has also promised seven years of OS and security updates, including seven OS upgrades and security support for seven years from the global launch date.
The company has not revealed the Signature 27’s price or exact sales date yet. Motorola says the smartphone will reach global markets in 2026, while details about its India launch remain undisclosed.
