New Delhi, December 24, 2025:

Vice President of India Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan and Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday jointly released Sanatan Sanskriti Ki Atal Drishti, a book authored by Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani. The ceremony was held at the Vice President’s Enclave in the national capital and was attended by several senior leaders and dignitaries.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice President Radhakrishnan described the book as a heartfelt tribute dedicated to Bharat Mata and the enduring nationalist philosophy of former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He noted that the release comes at a significant moment as the country prepares to commemorate Vajpayee ji’s birth centenary. Reflecting on his personal association with the former Prime Minister, the Vice President recalled Vajpayee ji as a leader of unwavering principles whose vision strengthened India’s democratic institutions, infrastructure development, and strategic capabilities.

He further remarked that Atal Bihari Vajpayee personified the ideal of “Nation first, party next, self-last,” blending humility with firm ideological conviction. According to him, the book offers a thoughtful portrayal of Vajpayee ji’s deep respect for Indian cultural traditions, parliamentary values, and his lifelong commitment to nationalism.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, addressing the gathering, emphasised the need to dispel misconceptions surrounding Sanatan, Hindu, and Indian culture. He stated that these are not separate ideas but expressions of a single civilisational consciousness. Referring to Swami Vivekananda’s teachings, Gadkari said Indian culture is rooted in inclusiveness, Sarva Dharma Sambhava, and respect for all faiths—principles that were clearly reflected in Vajpayee ji’s public life and leadership.

Author and Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani said the book attempts to interpret Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s life, leadership, and statesmanship through the timeless values of Sanatan culture. He noted that Vajpayee ji’s journey from a pracharak to the Prime Minister symbolised steadfast nationalism, democratic faith, and strong cultural roots.

The event was attended by Union Minister of State for Agriculture Shri Bhagirath Choudhary, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Shri Sunil Ambekar, National Book Trust Chairman Shri Milind Marathe, senior government officials, and other distinguished guests.
