Exciting OTT Releases Hitting Netflix, JioHotstar, Manorama Max, and ZEE5 Today

OTT platforms are the prime source for new entertainment, especially on Fridays when new movies and web series come out. On Friday, September 19, 2025, there will be four big titles released: Mahavatar Narsimha, The Trial Season 2, Two Men, and House Mates, all of which will offer distinctly different viewing options, ensuring audiences will fully enjoy themselves over the weekend.

Mahavatar Narsimha Arrives on Netflix

The animated mythological film Mahavatar Narsimha took the box office by storm when it was released in theaters on 25 July 2025. Made on a small budget, the film shocked everyone by collecting over ₹300 crore worldwide, making it one of India’s highest-grossing animated films. Directed by Ashwin Kumar, the story is based on the legend of Prahlad and Lord Vishnu’s Narasimha avatar. It was originally released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam and has now made its digital debut. The film will be streaming on Netflix from 19 September 2025 at 12:30 PM IST in all major languages.

The Trial Season 2 Streams on JioHotstar

After the success of the first season, Kajol is back with The Trial: Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha—Season 2. The first part, inspired by the American drama The Good Wife, received a good response and left fans waiting for more. Kajol once again plays lawyer Noyonika Sengupta, who juggles her personal life with high-stakes courtroom battles. The second season promises more political twists, emotional challenges, and gripping legal drama. All episodes of the new season were released on JioHotstar on 19 September 2025 at midnight.

Two Men Now on Manorama Max

The Malayalam psychological thriller Two Men has also arrived on OTT this Friday. Directed by Satheesh Kumar, the film stars Irshad Ali, M.A. Nishad, Donny Darvig, and Arfaz Iqbal. The story follows Abukka, a driver, and Sanjay, a businessman, who cross paths on a desert road during Bakrid. As the journey moves forward, Sanjay’s unsettling behavior creates tension, turning the film into a psychological cat-and-mouse chase. The film is now available for streaming on Manorama Max from 19 September 2025.

House Mates Premieres on ZEE5

If you are the sort who likes to blend horror with comedy, then House Mates (Tamil) is available for streaming on OTT. Directed by Raja Vel, the film stars Darshan, Kaali Venkat, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, and Aarsha Chandni Baiju in lead roles. The plot centers around a newly married couple, Karthik and Anu, who move into a new house and face bizarre supernatural incidents that dramatically disrupt their lives.
