New Delhi: Marking International Yoga Day, Health Fitness Trust organised the 24th edition of the “Run Against Drug Abuse” at Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat, furthering its efforts to make the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan a nationwide people’s campaign. The initiative brought together the themes of health, fitness, and social consciousness

Held annually since 2003, the initiative is supported by key government bodies, including the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, GSDS, Ministry of Culture, Narcotics Control Bureau, MHA, and the Delhi Government. State Bank of India (SBI) was the Title Sponsor, with Bhagesh Foundation and GAIL as official partners.

Over 2,000 participants took part in the event, reflecting strong public support for a drug-free India. The 1 km awareness Walk-or-Run was flagged off by Shri Vijay Goel, Vice-Chairman, GSDS, along with Asian Marathon Gold Medalist Dr Sunita Godara. Participants also took the Nasha Mukt Bharat pledge as “Nasha Mukti Mitras.”
