Kharagpur: Indira IVF has launched a new fertility centre in Kharagpur, West Bengal, to improve access to fertility diagnosis, treatment and assisted reproductive services for individuals and couples in the region.
The new centre will deliver patient-focused fertility care through standardised clinical protocols and advanced laboratory practices.
The Kharagpur centre will provide fertility evaluation and treatment for both male and female infertility. It will also offer assisted reproductive services and support patients throughout their treatment journey.
Indira IVF will use Electronic Medical Records (EMR), standardised laboratory practices and patient safety systems to support care at the centre.
Leading Medical Professionals Join Inauguration
Dr. Anup Kumar Mallick and Prof. Dr. Ratan Chandra Mandal attended the inauguration as Chief Guests. Dr. Akanksha Jangid, Dr. Mangal Prasad Mallick, Dr. Tanmoy Mondal and Dr. Adwaita Pandit attended as Guests of Honour.
Dr. Piyali Das, Senior Executive Director and Centre Head, Indira IVF, Kharagpur, also attended the event along with senior representatives and medical professionals.

Dr. Anup Kumar Mallick said greater awareness and easier access to fertility services can encourage people to seek timely medical guidance. He added that the new centre will help patients access fertility evaluation and treatment closer to their homes.
Prof. Dr. Ratan Chandra Mandal said fertility challenges can result from different clinical causes. He emphasised proper diagnosis and a structured treatment approach to help patients understand their options and make informed decisions.
