International Health & Wellness Expo 2026 Concludes, Highlights AYUSH and Healthy Lifestyle

Traditional Foods Take Centre Stage as ‘Kaki Maa’ Pickles and Sattu Draw Visitors

New Delhi: The 9th International Health & Wellness Expo (IHWE) 2026 concluded on Sunday at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, with a strong focus on AYUSH, preventive healthcare, nutrition, wellness and healthy lifestyles. Namo Gange Trust organised the three-day expo at Hall No. 12 from August 21 to 23.

According to the organisers, more than 100 national and international exhibitors, 10,000 visitors, over 1,000 buyers and 150+ expert speakers took part in the event. Doctors, researchers, healthcare professionals and industry representatives also attended the expo. The final day featured an AYUSH conference that focused on homeopathy, while several exhibition stalls attracted a steady flow of visitors.

‘Kaki Maa’ Pickles and Sattu Attract Visitors

Traditional Indian food added another dimension to the wellness-focused event. ‘Kaki Maa’ showcased its healthy pickles and sattu, attracting visitors with its traditional preparation methods and focus on Indian food heritage.

Anshu Jha, founder of Kaki Maa, said the brand makes its products in Patna using traditional techniques. The pickles use homemade spices and mustard oil. The brand prepares its sattu by soaking, drying and roasting chickpeas before grinding them in a traditional stone mill. Mithila paintings on the packaging also showcase the region’s cultural heritage.

Experts Discuss Traditional Medicine and Health Innovation

The 18th Arogya Conference, held alongside the expo, brought experts together to discuss evidence-based traditional medicine, Ayurveda, homeopathy, preventive healthcare, integrated healthcare, nutrition and holistic health.

Other sessions, including the Healthcare Innovation Summit, Global Wellness Leadership Forum and Wellness & AYUSH Leadership Forum, explored digital healthcare, AI in healthcare, preventive medicine, nutrition, wellness tourism and AYUSH.

Health and Wellness Excellence Recognised

The Namo Gange Global Health Excellence Awards 2026 marked another key highlight of the concluding day. The awards recognised individuals and institutions for their work in healthcare, AYUSH, wellness, research and innovation.

Namo Gange Trust Chairman Vijay Sharma said the expo seeks to strengthen knowledge-sharing, innovation, investment, business collaboration and global partnerships in the health and wellness sector. He also highlighted India’s potential to lead the global AYUSH, traditional medicine and holistic wellness sectors.
