New Delhi, October 13, 2025:
In a significant move to strengthen India’s research and innovation landscape, Dr. Rajkumar Sharma, Punjab Chairman of the People Forum of India – National Bharat Sevak Samaj, and Dr. Shruti, Managing Director of VA-RA Venture—a reputed international research organization—met Shri Tarun Chugh, National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The meeting aimed to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji’s vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047”, which focuses on making India self-reliant (Atmanirbhar) and positioning it as a Vishwa Guru in the fields of knowledge, research, and innovation.

Strengthening India’s Research and Innovation Ecosystem

During the meeting, discussions centered on developing collaborative initiatives to strengthen India’s research infrastructure. These programs will promote innovation, knowledge exchange, and academic excellence.

Dr. Rajkumar Sharma elaborated on the People Forum of India’s extensive work in vocational education, skill enhancement, and community empowerment, which aligns with the goals of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Mission. He emphasized that fostering skill-based education and innovation-driven growth will propel India toward becoming a global leader in science and technology.

Highlighting the vision of VA-RA Venture, Dr. Shruti spoke about the organization’s initiatives to create stronger linkages between academia and industry. She underscored the importance of promoting startups, adopting emerging technologies, and investing in interdisciplinary research to drive sustainable growth.

She also emphasized leveraging digital platforms to extend research and innovation opportunities to rural and underserved regions, ensuring that India’s progress remains inclusive and balanced—a key foundation of Viksit Bharat.

Tarun Chugh Lauds Efforts Toward “Viksit Bharat 2047”

BJP National General Secretary Shri Tarun Chugh appreciated the initiatives and commitment demonstrated by Dr. Sharma and Dr. Shruti toward advancing India’s innovation goals.

“These efforts are vital to realizing Prime Minister Modi Ji’s dream of a Viksit Bharat by 2047,” Shri Chugh said. “A self-reliant India powered by research, innovation, and skill development will truly emerge as a Vishwa Guru in the years to come.”

He further encouraged greater synergy between the government, academic institutions, and the private sector to create more opportunities in research, skill training, and entrepreneurship.
