Janta Party National President Navneet Chaturvedi Attends the Prime Minister’s Swearing-in Ceremony in Delhi

New Delhi, June 9, 2024:

Navneet Chaturvedi, National President, Janta Party attended the swearing-in ceremony of the Prime Minister at Rashtrapati Bhawan on Sunday in New Delhi. In the recently concluded Lok Sabha polls, National Democratic Alliance won the mandate to form the government. The NDA coalition had unanimously proposed Narendra Modi’s name as the leader of Parliamentary Committee in a meeting held in the Central Hall of Parliament on Friday. Narendra Modi took oath as the Prime Minister for the third consecutive term.

Popularly recognised as a journalist and author of ‘The Geopolitics’, Navneet Chaturvedi has impacted heavily on political media and social activism. During his time with Congress party, Mr. Navneet’s astute inquiries were vital in shaping public opinion as well as fight for justice. He played a pivotal role in exposing GSPC and Rafale scams which cites his unshakable commitment for moral leadership in this country.

On December 25 December, 2022, Navneet Chaturvedi joined the Janta Party where he was elected as the National President of the grand old party.

Mr. Chaturvedi responded to the invitation saying it’s a privilege to witness the swearing-in ceremony of the PM of world’s largest democracy. “This invitation demonstrates that we have joined efforts as Janta Party and our collective purpose is to facilitate progress for Indians. I am thrilled that I will be representing our party together with contributing my voice into ongoing debate about making India better.”

About Janta Party and its legacy

It is not easy to forget the Emergency and JP Movement. Navneet Chaturvedi, who is the President of the Janata party that was born out of JP Movement, says, he has inherited only the legacy of the Janata Party. With no resources, organization, funds, office etc,. However a person over 45-50 years old in every village or town at any corner of India instantly recalls their past when they hear about Janata Party Chandra Shekhar, Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan, JP Movement,Sampoorna Kranti,Morarji Desai,Chaudhary Charan Singh etc. The symbol of cycle riding farmer is still afresh in people’s mind. We just have to work hard; our voters are sitting everywhere in the country; we just have to reach them.

Navneet Chaturvedi says that even today we will continue following the ideals of our revered founder Jayaprakash Narayan Ji. As such while carrying forward socialist thought and ideology we have to realize incomplete dreams of JP on Sampoorna Kranti which shall remain our mission. These issues are administrative reforms; judicial reforms; police reforms as well as electoral reforms which make up for system change battle for common people by Janata Party.
