North West Lok Sabha Seat: National Secretary of the World Council of Arya Samaj, Swami Nityanand to campaign for Dr Udit Raj

He is also a spokesperson for the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha and has decided to continue campaigning until the end of the elections.

New Delhi, April 26, 2024:

Among the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi, the North West Delhi seat is quite significant; it is the lone Lok Sabha seat in Delhi which is reserved for Scheduled Castes. This Lok Sabha constituency came into existence in 2008. Congress candidate Dr. Udit Raj has been victorious from this seat earlier and is receiving substantial public support this time as well. On Friday, Swami Nityanand, also known as Mahendra Shastri, the National Secretary of the World Council of Arya Samaj and spokesperson of the United Farmers Front, announced his support. Not only will he campaign for Dr. Udit Raj while residing in the North West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency, but he has also decided to campaign in support of Dr. Udit Raj until the end of the elections.

Supporting Dr. Udit Raj, Swami Nityanand said, “Rahul Gandhi is fighting for the rights of 95% of the population of the country, including the common people, marginalized, and poor. We need to fight together and also succeed.” He said, “In the last 10 years, the BJP has not only deprived the rights of the poor, middle class, traders, small shopkeepers, women, youth, farmers, and laborers but has also distressed the public with record-breaking unemployment and historic inflation. The government has only worked for the interests of the capitalists. Therefore, there is a need to fight together now.”

It should be noted that the North West Lok Sabha seat includes 10 assembly constituencies. These assembly constituencies include Narela, Badli, Rithala, Bawana, Mundka, Kirari, Sultanpur Majra, Nangloi Jat, Mangolpuri, and Rohini. Among these, BJP MLA Vijender Gupta is from the Rohini assembly constituency, while all other seats have AAP MLAs, which could benefit Dr. Udit Raj under the India alliance. Both residential and commercial areas are included in this parliamentary constituency. Beyond Outer Ring Road, there are colonies like Rohini, Pitampura, Saraswati Vihar, and Model Town. Meanwhile, there are also industrial units in areas like Bawana, Mangolpuri, Sultanpuri, etc. In these areas, there are also villages in large numbers in Narela, Bawana, etc., where farming is done, and residential colonies are also developing. Dr. Udit Raj is gaining substantial public support from all these places, and he is also reaching out to the people through booth-level management.
