OPPO Reno 15 Series Launched in India: Premium Cameras, Big Batteries and 5G Power

OPPO Reno 15 lineup focuses on 200MP cameras, fast charging and powerful performance across different price segments.

OPPO has officially launched the Reno 15 series in India, adding three new 5G smartphones to its popular Reno lineup. This time, the company aims to offer premium features at more accessible prices. As part of the launch, OPPO introduced the OPPO Reno15 5G, OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini 5G, and OPPO Reno15 Pro 5G. Overall, the brand focuses on advanced cameras, smooth displays, strong performance and long battery life to attract buyers who want flagship-like features without paying flagship prices.

OPPO Reno 15 Series Prices in India

To begin with, OPPO has priced the Reno 15 series across multiple segments. The OPPO Reno15 5G starts at ₹45,999, after a price cut from ₹49,999. Meanwhile, the OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini 5G carries a price tag of ₹59,999, down from ₹64,999. At the top end, the OPPO Reno15 Pro 5G costs ₹67,999, compared to its earlier price of ₹74,999. Importantly, all three OPPO Reno phones support 5G and will be available through online platforms, OPPO stores and offline retailers across India.

OPPO Reno Design and AMOLED Display Quality

In terms of design, OPPO has given the Reno 15 series a premium and modern look. Each smartphone uses high-quality materials and slim bezels for an immersive viewing experience. At the same time, all models feature AMOLED displays for rich colours and smooth visuals.

The OPPO Reno15 5G comes with a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate, which ensures smooth scrolling. On the other hand, the OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini 5G appeals to users who prefer compact phones. It features a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 3,600 nits. Meanwhile, the OPPO Reno15 Pro 5G offers a larger 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with an adaptive 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate, helping improve both smoothness and battery efficiency.

In addition, all three phones include an in-display fingerprint sensor. They also carry IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings, which protect them against dust and water.

OPPO Reno Camera Features Take Centre Stage

When it comes to cameras, OPPO clearly puts photography at the centre of the Reno 15 series. In particular, the Pro models bring flagship-level camera hardware.

The OPPO Reno15 Pro 5G and OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini 5G feature a 200MP primary rear camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS). Along with this, OPPO adds a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS. For selfies, both phones use a 50MP front camera, delivering sharp images and clear video calls. Moreover, these models support 4K HDR video recording, cinematic video modes, dual-view recording and several AI-powered photography features.

At the same time, the OPPO Reno15 5G offers a strong camera setup at its price. It includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor on the back. OThe device comes with a 50MP camera for selfies on the front. In addition, the base model supports 4K video recording, making it suitable for content creators and everyday users.

OPPO Reno Performance and Software Experience

Moving on to performance, OPPO equips each Reno 15 model with capable processors for smooth daily use. The OPPO Reno15 5G runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, which handles multitasking, gaming and regular tasks efficiently.

Meanwhile, the OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini 5G and OPPO Reno15 Pro 5G use the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor, built on a 4nm process for better speed and power efficiency. OPPO ships all three smartphones with Android 16-based ColorOS 16. In addition, the software introduces useful AI tools such as AI Eraser, AI Portrait Glow, AI Editor 3.0, Reflection Remover and Pop-Out effects. OPPO has also promised long-term software updates and security support for the Reno 15 series.

Battery performance plays a major role in the Reno 15 lineup. OPPO packs large batteries into all three models to ensure all-day usage. The OPPO Reno15 5G and OPPO Reno15 Pro 5G come with a 6,500mAh battery, while the OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini 5G includes a 6,200mAh battery.

At the same time, all three phones support 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, which allows users to recharge quickly. Furthermore, the OPPO Reno15 Pro 5G adds 50W wireless charging, a feature usually found in more expensive flagship phones.

Finally, OPPO offers modern connectivity options across the Reno 15 series. The phones offer dual-SIM 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, stereo speakers and USB Type-C ports.
