Samsung Targets Premium Buyers with Snapdragon Galaxy S24 Ahead of Festive Season

Updated At: November 12, 2025 3:45 PM

The new Galaxy S24 variant with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy will debut on Flipkart before the Big Billion Days Sale starting September 23.

Samsung is bringing a new version of the Galaxy S24 to India, this time powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset. The move marks a shift from the Exynos-powered model launched earlier this year, and it comes just in time for the country’s festive shopping season.

The smartphone has already appeared on Flipkart with a “Coming Soon” tag, indicating that sales are likely to begin around the Big Billion Days Sale on September 23.

Pricing and Offers

Reports suggest the Snapdragon Galaxy S24 will start at ₹74,999, but launch offers and bank discounts could push the effective price below ₹40,000. This aggressive pricing could make the device one of the most attractive premium options during the festive period.

Color Options

The phone will come in Onyx Black, Amber Yellow, Marble Grey, and Cobalt Violet.

Competitive Edge

Samsung’s latest launch is aimed squarely at Indian buyers who want a flagship-like experience without paying premium prices. Thanks to the new Snapdragon processor, extended software support, and an effective price that could dip below ₹40,000, the phone is set to appeal strongly during the festive season. This move also places Samsung in direct competition with Apple, OnePlus, and Xiaomi, all of whom are gearing up for the same market.
