UP Warriorz delivered a strong all-round performance to defeat Mumbai Indians by 7 wickets in the Women’s Premier League match. Chasing a target of 162, UP Warriorz reached 162/3 in 18.1 overs and completed the chase without much difficulty.
Harleen Deol Leads UP Warriorz to Win
Harleen Deol played a match-winning innings and remained unbeaten on 64 runs from 39 balls. She hit 12 fours and controlled the chase calmly. Chloe Tryon finished the match in style, scoring a quick 27 off 11 balls to take UP Warriorz over the line.
Top Order Sets the Platform
UP Warriorz got a good start from the top order. Meg Lanning scored 25 runs, Kiran Navgire added 10, and Phoebe Litchfield made 25. Their contributions helped UP Warriorz stay ahead in the chase.
