Industry Leaders Discuss Roadmap for India’s First EV Park at New Delhi Round Table Meet

Protecting the Environment and Saving Energy Is a Shared Duty of Every Citizen: MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat

New Delhi: West Delhi MP Ms. Kamaljeet Sehrawat highlighted that environmental protection and energy conservation are everyone’s responsibility. Speaking at a round-table discussion on India’s first EV Park at MERI College, Janakpuri, she urged citizens to save electricity and support sustainable development.

The event was organised by IFEVA and MERI Group of Institutions to discuss the EV Park roadmap and electric mobility growth.

Ms. Sehrawat appreciated the efforts of IFEVA and MERI in taking forward the EV Park initiative. Delhi Police DCP Mr. Hareshwar Swami also lauded the project and extended his support and best wishes to the organisations involved.

Dr. Shailendra Saroj presented the EV Park’s master plan, infrastructure and technical strategy, while Mr. Sunil Bhatnagar highlighted the Government of India’s electric vehicle policies and initiatives.

Prof. Lalit Aggarwal highlighted rising pollution concerns in Delhi-NCR and said the EV Park could play a key role in promoting clean transportation and environmental sustainability.

Mr. IP Aggarwal, Chairman of MERI Group of Institutions, said India is moving rapidly towards becoming a global leader in electric mobility due to government support, technological innovation and increasing public awareness. He added that the proposed EV Park would further accelerate the country’s transition towards sustainable transportation.

Dean Dr. Deepshikha Kalra spoke about MERI College’s vision, mission and achievements. Dr. Rajeev Mishra, President of IFEVA, along with industry experts, academicians and other dignitaries, participated in the programme.

The discussion concluded with insights on EV growth, sustainable mobility and energy efficiency.
