OPPO F35 Series: A New Push Beyond Selfies with 50MP Camera and 8000mAh Battery

OPPO F35 Series launched in India with a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera, 8000mAh battery and 80W fast charging. Check price, features and variants

New Delhi: Smartphone makers are no longer competing only on megapixel counts. They are also focusing on how users actually use their cameras. OPPO has taken a similar approach with its new F35 Series. The company has launched the OPPO F35 5G and OPPO F35 Pro 5G in India.

The biggest highlight of the series is its 50MP Ultra-Wide Natural Selfie Camera, which offers a 100-degree field of view and allows users to fit more people into a single frame.

OPPO Turns the Selfie Camera into a Group Content Tool

OPPO has positioned the F35 Series as a “Group Selfie Expert.” The 50MP front camera does more than capture high-resolution selfies. Its 0.6x ultra-wide mode lets users capture group photos while including more of the background in the frame.

This feature can come in handy during outings with friends, travel, college gatherings and family events. It can also help social media creators shoot group content without having to hold the phone too far away. OPPO has also added an AI Auto Wide-Angle Switch that can automatically adjust the frame when required.

8000mAh Battery Is Another Major Highlight

The F35 Series also stands out with its 8000mAh battery. OPPO pairs the large battery with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging.

The company claims that the F35 Pro’s battery can retain more than 80 percent of its capacity even after six years, based on its laboratory testing.

The large battery could appeal to users who spend several hours on social media, video calls, gaming and video streaming. Content creators can also benefit from the extra battery capacity during long shooting sessions, reducing the need to look for a charger frequently.

F35 Pro Packs More Power

The OPPO F35 Pro 5G comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX processor, a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide rear camera. The phone supports 4K video recording from both the front and rear cameras.

OPPO has also focused on durability. The F35 Pro carries an IP69K rating for water and dust resistance and comes with a rugged build.

The standard OPPO F35 5G features a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor. Both models feature a 50MP Ultra-Wide front camera.

OPPO F35 Series Price in India

OPPO has priced the F35 5G starting at Rs 38,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model costs Rs 42,999.

The F35 Pro 5G starts at Rs 45,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant. The 8GB+128GB model costs Rs 49,999, while the 8GB+256GB version carries a price tag of Rs 54,999.

The company is also offering a 10 percent instant bank discount and a 10 percent exchange bonus.

Who Should Buy the OPPO F35 Series?

With the F35 Series, OPPO is targeting more than just selfie enthusiasts. The company is also looking at social media users and content creators.

The 50MP ultra-wide front camera can make group photos and wider selfie shots easier, while the 8000mAh battery can offer an advantage during long shooting and entertainment sessions.

That gives the F35 Series a slightly different positioning in the market. Instead of relying only on a high megapixel count, OPPO has combined the camera, group selfie, video and battery experience to create a more creator-focused smartphone lineup.

The bigger question now is whether the F35 Series can deliver enough value at its price point to stand out in India’s competitive smartphone market.
