#Varun Gandhi Expresses Deep Sentiments for Pilibhit Residents After BJP Refuses Candidacy; ‘I Was Yours, Am Yours, and Will Always Be’
New Delhi : Following the denial of a ticket from Pilibhit for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, BJP MP Varun Gandhi conveyed his heartfelt emotions through a letter addressed to the people of his constituency. Reflecting on his childhood memories, he recounted his initial encounter with the region, emphasizing the enduring bond he shares with Pilibhit since his early years, which has become an integral part of his life. Gandhi acknowledged the profound influence of Pilibhit’s residents on him, citing the invaluable lessons in values, simplicity, and kindness he learned from them, shaping both his role as a Member of Parliament and his personal growth.
Despite the conclusion of his tenure as an MP, Varun Gandhi affirmed that his connection with Pilibhit would endure until his last breath. He considered himself fortunate to have served the community and expressed gratitude for the opportunities he received. Despite the setback in his political career, Gandhi pledged to continue serving the community, promising to remain accessible and dedicated to their welfare, even if not in the capacity of an MP.
It’s notable that Varun Gandhi was replaced by former Congress leader Jitin Prasada for the Pilibhit seat in the BJP’s fifth list of candidates, released on March 25. Nonetheless, Varun Gandhi’s commitment to serving the people of Pilibhit remains unwavering, as the Lok Sabha elections approach, scheduled for April 19, where nominations for the seat concluded on March 27.
